Deva artwork is inspired by the desire to honor and accentuate the natural beauty found in women and their surrounding environment. My artwork is an adornment to be worn, felt and experienced; be it a shibori scarf, a necklace or earrings, each artistic expression is shaped to emulate organic forms and symmetry found in nature and architecture.
My evolution as an artist is derived from the unique blend of high artistic standards and a looseness that demands spontaneous creativity. I mix traditional, sometimes ancient techniques with avant-garde methods for a modern yet classic design. My artwork is designed for simplicity and to be worn with casual sophistication for any occasion.
